At NEW VISIONS high school students explore career options from a real-world perspective. New Visions students have the unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into careers and fields, something previously reserved for college upperclassmen.
Through academics, site visits, guest
speakers, mentoring and a variety of projects, New
Visions students work at a level that prepares them
for college.
Students
get a jump-start on their futures by developing advanced
writing, communications, problem solving skills, and
taking a firsthand look at a chosen career field. New
Visions graduates attend some of the finest colleges
and universities in the country.

This challenging program, which blends practical experience with classroom instruction, exposes students to various engineering fields, research, studies in mathematics, technology and other sciences. During class, each student has access to a personal laptop computer with Internet access.
The program is located on the Campus
of Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and is
