Graduate Degrees

Rensseaer Polytechnic Institute has an international reputation for its graduate and professional masters programs in mathematics, science and engineering. One of CIPCE's missions is to develop graduate and certificate programs for K-12 teachers which reflect Rensselaer's inquiry pedagogy and commitment to the implementation of cutting edge technologies into its educational programs. These programs fall into two categories. One of these are on campus Masters programs for secondary school teachers of mathematics, science and technology education which take place in a six week period over three consecutive summers. These programs are attracting teachers from all over the country, and several foreign countries, and are lauded for their commitment to quality and relevant education. The second are certificate programs which provide a depth of experience in a particular area and whose successful completion attests to the participants expertise in this area.
